Front Page, HTML 8/2001 - 2004 PowerSalesSoftware 2004 E-Commerce Catalog Application I designed and developed an E-Commerce Catalog Application. Catalog data is entered i.e. Product Name, Item Number, Price, along with and image file (GIF or JPG) into the database. The data is then dynamically converted in to a HTML catalog with a table of contents, product pages and proper navigation and search capabilities. MS Access, VBA, Front Page 9/2002 – 9/2002 Password Manager - Designed and developed Password Manager, a Promotional Software application. With Password Manager you can keep all your passwords in one safe place. Web site passwords, PIN numbers, logon passwords, alarm codes, or any passwords can be stored in this database application. I came up with a marketing concept to license the software for yearly promotional use. – Clarion 5.5 7/2002 – 9/2002 Multi-user Telemarketing System - I designed and developed a multi-user phone marketing system. This system works great for lead prospecting. Sales leads are imported into the backend database, mdb or SQL. The user can easily make calls make calls either by hand or auto-dialer. Leads and scripts can be viewed slit screen. The user can send a fax or email to the customer with one click. Product information can be viewed in an integrated browser form, giving the user greater product knowledge. Office XP Developer, MS Access, VBA, VB, ActiveX 5/2002 – 7/2002 Insurance Billing - I designed a stand-alone application for Consolidated Billing Co., a Canadian based firm. I designed a system that allows their Clients and Brokers, to enter, and modify insurance policy data. The data is then export to their AS400 legacy systems. This application is a stand program with setup and install. It can be distributed to their Clients on CD or via the internet. Office XP Developer, MS Access, VBA 7/2001 – 8/2001 MDLR - A Medical Laser Equipment Rental I automate their business via a MS Access database application. They were using ACT( contact management software) for scheduling , Excel, and MS Word for to tracking and printing invoices. This Client was jumping through hoops, using three programs, and taking literally hours to do a few invoices. With the new system I designed, they can enter a Client, schedule a job, and invoice in a few simple, logical and easy steps. Program Features: Order Data Entry, Invoicing, and Calendar Scheduling via active-x calendar control. - MS Access, VBA 5/2001 - 7/2001 Insurance Agency with Caller ID Custom programming and database design for an Insurance Marketing Company. The company has and an extensive marketing database with demographic data 100,000 seniors in South Florida. My job consisted of customizing forms, creating and maintaining reports, custom programming and other I.T. duties. I integrated a multi-line Caller ID box into the database which looks up client data when a call comes in or creates a new client if the name and number is not in the database. - Visual Basic 6, MS Access, VBA 11/2000 - 4/2001 Collection Manager Application Project Management Lead Programmer in charge of development of a commercial collection agency system. This system manages client and debtor information including debt balance, payments, client invoices, commissions, and mail merge collection letters. - MS Access, VBA 10/2000 - 03/2001 Land Surveyor Application Project Management Lead Programmer in charge of development of a commercial an order tracking system for one of Florida's leading surveying companies. Job consisted of programming, database design and development of ability to merge data with AutoCAD drawings and send to company web site. - MS Access, VBA 9/2000 - 12/2000 DoitWireless.com Project Management in charge of development of a world class 1,500 product e-commerce catalog database. Date entry including product update and global price changes can be done online real time. We also help them with their online marketing needs via search engines placement and linking. - ASP, MS Access 6/2000 - 7/2000 Fax Number Spider I designed and developed a program that can take raw data form the internet or any text file and parse text in to a database. I currently use the program to mine fax numbers for in house marking for PowerInfoTech. This program can sort data by city based on the phone prefix an can be used to mine email addresses. - MS Access, VBA 04/2000 - 05/2000 First Place Ranking Design and development of a search engine positioning and analysis tool. This job consisted of research, programming, database design for the one the industry leaders in internet marketing. Duties also included project management and documentation. - Visual Basic 6, ActiveX, MS Access 03/2000 - 04/2000 AT&T/MediaOne I designed and developed a Quality Assurance Application for MediaOne field Technicians. This application allows the Field Tech Team Leader to enter data from job site inspections, then analyze, report and rate the quality of work preformed by the Field Techs on installations and maintenance of Cable TV, Broadband, and Telephony services. Job duties consist of project management, programming, and documentation.- MS Access, VBA 05/99 - 08/99 CES/IRL Application design and development for a Drug Testing Lab. Converted data from three different types of system into an integrated billing application for a Drug Testing Lab. Data from Excel, Clarion, and ASCII text from a legacy system were merged together to form a billing system using MS Access 2000. Routines are written in VBA 6 to convert the raw data into normalized table structures. System Invoices and Client information forms were created from this data. - MS Access, VBA, Windows 98/NT 12/98 - 05/99 AT&T/MediaOne Y2K application conversion - I converted a DOS dbase program to a Y2K compliant application running on Windows NT. Every cable set top box has to go through a Quality Control(QC) process. QC, repair history, and man-hours for the Converter Repair department are logged into this application. This completely redesigned application has over 500,000 records, automatically sends data directly to their main-frame cable billing system, and can efficiently produce a productivity report with data that was imported from the dbase program. MS Access, VBA, WinBatch 11/98 - 12/98 SFMTC I designed a Time Sheet application for tracking engineer project hours. This application allows for quick data entry and easy reporting of information to the U.S. government. MS Access, VBA, Active X, Lotus Notes 5/98 - 11/98 Net Travel IT Administrator - Managed the Information Technologies department. My responsibilities included Webmaster and Chief Technologist at the company. I have designed and maintained over 40 web sites. I've applied my programming skills to create data driven applications from HTML forms via the web. I designed a 800 item shopping cart web site for one of the company's clients. Upgraded and trouble shot PCs and networks. I was responsible for project management and employees in my department. - MS Front Page, MS Access, VBA 3/97 - 5/98 Buyers N' Sellers 97 - Project Developing a vertical market solution for Manufactures Reps., Material Brokers, Commodities Brokers, Importers and Exporters. This software features integrated contact management, purchase orders, invoices, accounts payable, chart of accounts, basic word processing, mail-merge, form letters, and various graphing and reporting capabilities. My duties included design, development, market research, web site design and marketing. - MS Access 97, Visual Basic 6/97 - 12/97 CEL L.L.C. Information Technology Manager for an environmental laboratory. My duties include maintenance of a custom LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) designed in MS Access 2.0, network administration and support of a 25 user Novell 3.2 network with Win95 clients. I was also responsible for software and hardware upgrades. - MS Access 2.0, Access Basic 1/97 - 3/97 Advanced ATM I designed a service call dispatch system for a national ATM company. The application uses an open log view of multiple service call records that are currently pending service. Each record for service generates its own unique date/number combination for that day, then resets it self at 12AM. - MS Access 2.0, Access Basic 10/96 - 1/97 Landmark Mortgage Company I redesigned a mortgage rate information system. This system analyzes multiple lender products and produces a rate sheet of the top lender rate premium combination for each product. This system also has easy to use custom forms with related file views and other various reports, queries. - MS Access 7, VBA, SQL 4/96 - 8/96 Auto Wax Company I designed and developed a multi-user leads processing system. This system looks up the distributor for the lead calling, prints out WYSIWYG form letters and can graphically print out the distributor’s territory. I also created a small inventory database and other various small apps and reports. - Clarion for Windows 2.0, Access 7 & 2 8/94 - 4/96 New Age Plastic Recyclers I designed custom multi-user application for this plastics recycling company. This system has an integrated contact database, generates purchase orders, invoices, accounts payable, trucking information, management and financial reports. I have updated and supported them by phone and via the Internet. - Clarion for Windows, Clarion DOS, Visual Basic 3, Access 2.0 4/94 - 8/94 Vacation Travel Network, Inc. Designed and developed custom Charter Airline reservation system for startup air charter services. The system scheduled flights, printed quotes and tickets, other features included a passengers manifest.
